Privacy statement

Scumbags VTT exists to let you play Dungeons & Dragons (or any other role playing game) online. That's it. We don't sell your info and we don't share it, not for any price — we're scummy, not stupid. We ask for a name (a fake one's fine, you degenerate) so you can be announced when you crash a session, and an e-mail address so you can reset your password when you inevitably forget it. We'll also use that e-mail to warn you about maintenance or shiny new features.

The website and server log IP addresses for one reason: so the maintainer can hunt down errors and swat anyone trying to hack the place. It runs on a private server, so old logs get torched whenever someone gets around to it — a few times a year, realistically. The legal basis for this is the 'legitimate interest' under GDPR Article 6 (1) f, per GDPR recital 49.
